Comfort Zones

Before my latest arm candy came along, I have enjoyed several others (both cheap and the not-so-cheap ones) in the past. From my array of collections, I have shortlisted three. These triumvi-bags are all special because each has its own story to tell.
Yes, my new LV is so dear to me because it's Jobert's most expensive gift ever, yet, I definitely prefer sentimentality over value and LV still has to prove its worth.
Here are the fab three that I'll take out of the box come spring cleaning time.

My DIY bag.

I bought a plain bag from warehouse and decorated it with my PIN collections both vintage and new from the countries I've visited. What I loved about this bag is the stares I get from kids. Seeing their envious look from their faces makes my heart melt. One kid even wanted the butt-showing Bart. Oh, kid if only we can share Bart's butt, gladly I would. Drool kid, drool! :)

My Boblbee Scarabee
.

I've searched high and low to find Jobert's female version of his Boblbee People's Delite. It was difficult to find this then, and it still hard to find this now. We ended up in a train to London to search for one and bought it immediately as soon as we found it regardless of its price. The petite-size is so me :) Whether you're a fashionista, sporty or maybe just a plain jane, this bag is your ultimate accessory. It's rarity makes me clamor for more of this brand. I wish somebody who's at the the third floor right now would read this and buy me the pinky one :) My Bayongs.

These reminded me of home. It's funny how we appreciate things that we have taken for granted in the past. I was so much influenced by imported products while I was in my own country that I have totally ignored the beauty of straw bags.
These couple were purchased in a boutique called "East" and if you see the insides of these pair, you will find the label "made from original straw in the Philippines."
I am still amazed whenever I find beautiful things being displayed in posh boutiques that came from my country. Why can't I find these beautiful creations in Pinas by the way? or was I just turning a blind eye?

i'm a bags girl myself and i don't go for price. my eyes do the decision. i go to TK, and similarly i also haunt TJ Hughes because sometimes they do carry good ones.

ahm, yung boblbee hindi ko maarok ang itsura. asan ang opening niyan at bakit parang armor ng sundalo. ahihi.. ignoramus mode.
